A couple weeks ago I posted about God’s Vengeance. Nina, a fellow blogger ( Random Ntrygg) ran across my blog and had some comments. After a
little discussion about reading other viewpoints we decided to read books that the other had recommended. We have agreed that this is not to influence the other, only to inform and understand. I received her book this weekend and am excited to get started.

I think Canada Post gets cranky when they deliver stuff that the money for the stamps doesn’t go to them.
An interesting context for you – Winston Blackmore and the other leader of Bountiful (who reports to Warren Jeffs)
have lost the legal battle – the BC Supreme Court upheld Canada’s anti-polygamy laws as being harmful to women and children
and I’ve not read enough to know if it also relates to the Charter Rights of equality being the supreme right above all other rights.
In other polygamy-Canada news, we have a man and his son on trial for the Sharia honor killing of the mans three teenaged daughters and his first wife – he did a family planning and removed 1 wife and 3 daughters, and kept the second wife and their son.
